Misty blossom froth against the sky
\nLording it over siblings
\nSprawled across the hillside,
\nNot a one
\nMore beautiful than the other
\nMy heart leaps and sings
\nTo soaring flute
\nAnd drumming delirium.<\/p>\n
What about the newly birthed
\nSets us so rejoicing
\nWith bated breath we attend
\nFirst openings
\nCrocuses still bedewed,
\nTiny kit or colt or cub,
\nOr babe so tenderly placed
\nIn its mother’s arms.<\/p>\n
Our hearts cannot fail to dance
\nFor each new birth bears witness
\nTo Spirit’s promise that
\nLife has no end, only
\nAn eternal series of beginnings
\nExpressing itself anew
\nAgain and again
\nAnd yet again.<\/p>\n
