Dawn was having one of those days
\nWhen, looking through the morning haze
\nI realized, she could not find
\nJust the dress she had in mind.<\/p>\n
First she appeared in soft dove gray;
\nAfter due considering, tossed that away
\nAnd donned a lovely rose-striped mauve
\nThat she was particularly fond of,
\nWith an accent belt of gold lame–
\nDecided that was just not Today.<\/p>\n
She quickly changed to a blue and white float
\nWith puffy cloud-pearls at the throat.
\nNo time remained for another change
\nFor Sun was coming into range.
\nOff she hurried in her latest robe,
\nChasing Night around the globe.<\/p>\n
